"We have an excellent project going now with our gardeners. 2 young chaps have been trained in organic food gardening, and they are starting a little business renting space around people's shacks and growing veggies. They pay the rent with half the crop and we buy the rest for our soup kitchen, guest house, day-care centre and the restaurant that we will be opening some time this year as a training school for chefs, waiters etc.
The price of food has skyrocketed here and our soup kitchen is feeding over 250 people every day. Our gardens are flourishing."
